Buena Salud Americas

Buena Salud Americas is an initiative of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health(the Alliance) and the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), to support collaboration between community and non-governmental organizations, and to share successful community-based practices for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases throughout the Americas.

Buena Salud Americas convenes annual meetings to focus on community-based models for action related to risk factors for communicable and noncommunicable diseases. Buena Salud Americas partners include the Colombian Ministry of Health, the Mexican Ministry of Health, and the American Cancer Society among others.
